"Stony Brook was known for being one of the best hospitals in Long Island, now it is without a doubt the worst health care provider especially in mental health, after giving them a bad review for the horrible service received from that area and all the complaints we did it about a supposed doctor today 8/12/24 we received a letter of termination of medical service, where they say "they know the importance of a good relationship between patient - provider" but they don’t said very sorry for not having lived up to what was expected of a doctor, OBVIOUSLY since the supposed doctor lied to us and to the pharmacist, WE decided not to use the services of this place again and from the same day in the evening we have a new doctor, a graduated doctor, not a second class student as Stony Brook has to treat patients. DEFINITELY THE TRUTH HURTS THEM AND THE PROOF IS THE LETTER. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! if I could give her zero stars I would, my daughter has been in treatment for depression and ADHD for a little over 1 year, everything was going well with the first two doctors she had, they always listened to her and paid attention to her needs and desires, until they changed again and that was when we realized that they really ARE NOT DOCTORS THEY ARE JUST STUDENTS, in what head fits it to put students to treat patients, the first 2 were excellent obviously as in every career there are outstanding students who were the first 2 and MEDIOCRE like the last student, a useless one who only seeks to experiment with the health of the patients, a woman who at her convenience acts ignorant, a liar, complete garbage, that instead of taking away the medicine for depression from my daughter as the previous student was doing, this idiot woman sends her a stronger medicine which obviously my daughter since the day she spoke to her, told her that she was not going to take it because she was in the process of stopping taking med, my daughter told her that she already needed the medicine for ADHD and this idiot “so called doctor” told her, she can see that she already needed it and this stupid woman took 2 weeks to ask the insurance for approval, she called my daughter and told her that the insurance had not approved it, something that was not true. In a 5 minute call to the health insurance we realized that she never called, nor sent an email or anything, but she called for if she already taking the new med something that she knew she will no take it because no needed it, but she needed her medicine for ADHD, so only an idiot can not see that this so-called doctor is experimenting with patients for her own benefit. She only contacted our health insurance after we left several messages on the answering machine because there nobody ever answers and if they answer you, they tell you to leave the message they will contact you and that never happens, even knowing that it was for medicine, we had to send emails to 5 people who appear on their own page as “in charge” of that area, of which only 1 person answered and who said that he was not in charge of that area but would pass the information to the indicated department, the next day in the afternoon we received the call from the pharmacy that we could pick up the medicine at 4pm after 2 weeks that my daughter did not have her medicine and that idiot student did not care about that, as well as the rest of that stony brook psychiatric department that is supposed to be supervising their students, since Friday my daughter is taking her medicine again but since she was without taking it for a long time and it is like starting again but with high doses, my daughter has problems with side effects because of the medicine and last week she was feeling bad because of the lack of her medicine because she stopped taking it from one day to the next, we have had to take the day off from work to take my daughter to her primary doctor, all because of the incompetent, ignorant, and I even think she's racist for the way she acted and spoke to my daughter, her name is MEHWISH CHOUDHRY be careful with her."

"Never been to prison but this is like a prison, some people say it’s even worse. They strip you naked, take away your phone and other personal belongings, make you stare at a wall for hours and hours until the psychiatrist is ready to see you. If you are having anxiety attacks they will chain you down in handcuffs and inject you with stuff. All of the bathrooms are locked and you must ask for permission every time. No windows, no clocks, no visitors or outside communication with anyone. Only positive out of all of this was my nurse who always kept me hydrated and checked-up on me."
