"I came in for wound care, and Kulsoom Shah was not accommodating and was very patronizing. She briefly looked at my wound and gave me external medications to which she did not inform me directions of use or frequency of use. She did not notify me what she had given me, and I had to ask her what the medications were and how to use it multiple times for clarity. She did not care for burn wound infections; I received a second degree burn and I had to request for bandages for my wound to correctly heal. I asked her if I needed bandages, and she rudely remarked if I wanted the bandages, to which I said yes. She did not explain how often I needed to change the dressing or proper administration. Throughout the experience, Shah was very condescending and I felt like she was in a rush and I was wasting her time. I am extremely dissatisfied with my one and only experience here."

"Came for an annual physical renewal. Was not told beforehand that my titers must be uploaded and staff there made me feel like I was stupid. If you get Nurse Practitioner Elizabeth Mensch good luck, she cuts you off, interrogates you, is impatient, and denies care before you can even receive it. Would never want any patient or student to feel this way. Never coming back, go to an urgent care or SBU hospital instead."

"Dr. Palat took the time to see me, answer all my questions and explain each of the steps of her clinical reasoning at each of my visits. She made sure to follow up every time new results were in and went out of her way to help me with referrals, even while on vacation! She's a gem!"
