He takes the time to tell you straight what issues are going on with your feet and supports his findings with conditions, x rays, and photos to pinpoint where the problems lie. He saved my right foot by removing a bone to alleviate a foot ulcer, and has done the same on the left as well. Dr. Tek will provide instructions in order to maintain consistency and safety, and is a consummate professional while being as close to a miracle worker as podiatrists come. "Super nice guy and the office staff were friendly as well, but I'm a little disappointed that he was not thorough. He did an xray, said no fracture and informed me it was a tear instead, and told me it would heal in 6 weeks. Was still in pain 6 weeks later, so I made a second opinion appointment with a different doctor. The other doctor did an mri and found 3 separate issues, as well as recommended a boot and meds. He also said he couldn't understand how dr. Tek could conclude it was a tear without having done an mri since tears don't show on xrays. Dr. Tek and office staff were very nice but weren't thorough and as a result didn't diagnose my issue properly, which felt like the visit to them had been a waste of time and a delay in treatment."
