"I had a colonoscopy and a endoscopy performed by Dr.Farrah and I was so sick after the procedure it was horrible !! I have never felt pain as I did that day. I’ve had these procedures done a few times by another gastroenterologist and never experienced this !!! Needless to to I will never go back to him again and he never posted the result on the Follow My Health portal which is SIUH patients information Tried calling and was put on hold three times This office is the worst !!! 6/3/2024 finally got the results after requesting them for weeks !!! Terrible office and Doctor !"

"My elderly father has received several services at Dr. Farag's under different Medicare health insurance. I asked the staff if they accept Medicare Cigna PPO before I scheduled an appt and I asked again on the day of the appt when the health insurance card is shown to staff. Both times I was told that they were in the Network. My elderly father lives on a fixed income & he can not afford 30% out of network cost for colonoscopy & lab cost (his 30% he paid $219, that is a lot for him). The office was also quick to send my father's account to a debt collector. 2 star is for the deceptive act to claim the doctor is in the network when he wasn't. If a patient/customer can not trust the doctor's office to provide truthful & accurate information to file claim. What else is the office not being honest about submitting lab, results, etc."

"I don’t know what’s going on with Dr. Farag but the care and office has severely declined. My dad just got an endoscopy in April and he was fine. Fast forward to May 11th, he’s on the way to the hospital bleeding from his butt and passing out from how much blood he lost - 2 bags of blood were given to him for recovery. He had a stomach ulcer after doing another endoscopy after he was admitted. My dad had been complaining of discomfort since March and after the hospital visit, it still took almost 2 weeks to get seen there. I get he’s busy but after emergencies, there should be a window for after hospital visits to be seen. Also side note - I went there in 2019 and their job was to run my insurance to make sure I could be seen without extra costs. They are within network but there’s some weird tier system when you work for Northwell and can’t see tier 2 doctors. I was not aware that he was tier 2 and now I owe $600. Maybe they should’ve done their jobs? I worked at a few doctors offices and we ALWAYS run the insurance. Office staff is always rude on the phone too. Please do better."

"Me and my husband are new patients.so far so good .have no problems to post and we have been to alot of Drs. The Dr.,his anesthesiologist,and all staff are very friendly, professional and his office is very clean so how can you complain.The Dr also called me and spent time on the phone with us to hear our concerns and issues. Will be returning."
