Dr. Mark holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine and has over 20 years of experience in the field. His extensive background includes working at the renowned NYU Medical Center/Rusk Institute, where he specialized in acute care, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and orthopedic and neurological conditions.
Dr. Mark is a certified strength and conditioning specialist with a passion for sports-specific rehabilitation. As a former athlete, he understands the needs of athletes at all levels and is committed to helping them return to their peak performance. His integrative, hands-on approach ensures that each patient receives individualized care tailored to their unique needs and goals.
Joining Dr. Mark is Dr. Christine Chimento, an experienced physical therapist with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University. Her upbeat personality and strong orthopedic background make her an asset to our team. Dr. Chimento is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal mental and physical well-being through patient education, manual techniques, and personalized exercise programs.

"As an active women in her sixties, and caring for sick family members over the years, I have had varied exposure to many physical therapists, both locally and in Manhattan. Dr. Mark came to me by several recommendations, and I have also referred several people to him. This is all to say that I think he stands above many physical therapists in expertise, concern, professionalism and communication. He has treated me for both knee and back issues, and his diverse training, I believe, is one of the pluses that I gained in going to him. He is hands-on, and does not pass you on to an aide as many therapists do. He uses a wide variety of techniques to help you get better. Whether exercising or using one of his many pieces of equipment, he seems to be cognizant of what you are doing. Even if he is in another room, I have seen him come out and correct me if I was using a wrong format, explaining the reasons why it was incorrect so that I could independently use the information and better understand how not to hurt myself, even after the therapy is over. My knee injury was severe enough making steps difficult and painful. I did best walking down steps backwards, and eventually one step at a time. After only a few sessions, I was navigating steps almost normally! I am so appreciative of his help in making it possible for me to once again be able to do daily walks. In comparison, I would rate Dr. Mark right there beside the physical therapist at Rusk Institute/NYU that helped my husband to be able to walk again after severe leg trauma. The results that I am seeing in my improvements speak for itself."
