"I am extremely dissatisfied with the office manager Ms. Tanya. The Dr’s office staff has denied seeing my mother for her new patient visit with Dr. Smirnov with the following statement: “The patient has seen another doctor today and we will not get paid by insurance because the same billing code will not be covered by the patient’s insurance company.” In addition to that Ms. Tanya probably feels very much privileged at the office since she allowed herself to raise her tone and speak to me in a very disrespectful manner while all i was trying to do is to find out what billing code they were planning to use. She quickly mentioned 99204 in the very beginning of my phone call and i assumed she probably meant 92004 so i asked her to repeat herself. In response she started yelling and telling me that she’s been running the office for 30 yrs like i cared about her experience. This is the most disrespectful and rude person that i’ve ever communicated to in healthcare EVER. Just to add some context: my mother saw her Ophthalmologist in the morning, they’ve billed 92004 which stands for a comprehensive eye examination. Dr. Smirnov is a PCP and i assume he wouldn’t bill insurance for comprehensive eye exam. Anyway I am now deeply frustrated and feel disgusted with the way i got treated by the office manager. I’ve been working in the medical field for quite a few years, i am seeing my own doctors of different specialties in one day ALWAYS. Cause how ridiculous it would be if people really had to take a day off for every single doctor?!"

"Dear friends, avoid this office and this doctor, when I came to the appointment, in addition to my insurance and copay, they wanted to take more cash, that absolutely not legal, as a result, I lost my working day and my health."
