"Until recently I would have given Dr Ray’s Eye Institute a 5 star rating. Unfortunately, there is currently a problem getting appointments. I had an appt in June (prior appt was in January), It was canceled (by them) due to the installation of new equipment and training (supposedly) and would close for 2 weeks). As of early August, I have yet to hear from Dr Ray’s staff. This has caused me to seek out other eye doctors. Dr Ray is a brilliant, outstanding doctor, I just couldn’t wait any longer for a rescheduled appointment."

"What happened with this office? My family has been coming to Dr. David & Dr. Ray for as long as I can remember and we love them. I’m not sure if they’ve gotten too big or the staff just needs better training? Front desk girls aren’t pleasant (kind of nasty actually), nurses are good though. I’ve been calling for weeks and can’t get a live body on the phone—no matter what prompt I press. What kind of office NEVER picks up the phone? I’ve also left several messages without a single call back; thank God it’s not an emergency. Do I really have to drive to the office just to make an appointment?! If so, I guess it’s time to change doctors ☹️ ."

"A truly great Dr, I have only great things to say about him. HOWEVER, the wait times for your appointment are extremely long and you have to call/leave voicemails REPEATEDLY before someone gets back to you. They also charged me incorrectly twice. Not sure what is going on with how to office itself is run, I give that zero stars. But the Dr. himself is very good."

"I called to inquired about an emergency my mother was experiencing with her eye. Before answering a question whether there is availability to be seen in this case of emergency, she brutishly ignored the inquiry to clarify a past billing statement. I understand there may be some negligence in billing. In this case of an EMERGENCY, I did not appreciate the lack of empathy I received from the brief call I had with who ever answered the phone. We are headed to the hospital instead. Furthermore, the doctor is brilliant and have nothing, but good experiences. However, the hospitality over the phone was in my opinion heartless."

"I just saw Dr Ray Mostafavi. He was so informative and took the time to explain EVERYTHING about my eye condition and had the patience in doing so,no rushing on his part. I learned so much in this one visit and I am sure he can help my eye situation. Wait time? Who cares if there is any wait time, the appointment was def worth whatever wait time-long or short there might have been. I highly recommend this practice. Everyone in the office was cordial and pleasant."
