"Great doctor, truly atrocious office management - atrocious enough that I won’t return. I don’t have a long history with this doctor, but the few experiences I had been very good - thorough, pleasant, informative. BUT - experience today (play by play): - made an appt for 615pm. Get there at 615pm. Fill out paperwork, etc. by 630pm. - 640pm passes. 650pm passes. No sign of life. Meanwhile, I have work to finish. - 7pm - moved to the exam room. - 710 pm- temperature taken. After my repeated questions about when will the doctor see us, the receptionist attempts to school me in the ways of medical offices, saying that an hour wait is normal , and what do I expect. I say that if there is no room at 615pm, she shouldn’t make appts for 615pm. It clearly does not compute for the receptionist. - 715pm - no signs of life. - 730 pm - I leave, not having been seen by the doctor. Extremely unprofessional. I will not return and do not recommend that you use this office either."

"My family has been seeing Dr G since my 15 yr old daughter was 96 hours old! He is a very nice, kind, and super smart doctor. My only issue is the waiting…and waiting…and waiting. Imagine sitting in the waiting room for an undetermined amount of time with a sick or otherwise restless toddler who does NOT want to be there. Then they send you into the office where you sit and wait again. There were times we sat in there for an hour waiting. You cannot imagine the frustration a parent feels, nevermind the poor kid who, by nature of age, has zero patience to begin with. It makes me kind of dread going lol! But i don’t blame the doctor completely. This MUST have something to do with staff making too many appointments. But trust that when it’s your turn, you will not be rushed, all your questions and concerns will be addressed. So you can imagine how good of a doctor he is, being that I am willing to deal with the wait times. Because he is a great doctor. Also let me just say, the waiting doesn’t happen EVERY time we go. But it has happened a few times."

"Dr Gorukanti takes very good care of my wife and I. We have been seeing him for years and recommend him. The staff at his office on staten island and in brooklyn are always patient and very helpful."

"Dr Gorukanti is a good doctor. I trust him 100%. What I have a problem with are the wait times. Coming in for a 6pm appointment, going from the waiting room to doctor's exam room, only to be seen by the doctor at 8PM is just not okay with screaming, crying kids. Please be courteous of others time and do not overbook patients."
