"Love Dr. Bertelle and Lorraine! They truly care about their patients! I know that I am well taken care of when I come here for a well visit/ sick visit. The staff is also very helpful. Sometimes there is a wait…. For a good reason. You don’t feel rushed when you are in the room. I always feel comfortable leaving the room knowing all my questions and concerns were answered."

"wow, talking about bad receptionists. Just gave the office number a call to inquire if Dr. Bertelle was accepting new patients. A friendly recommendation; give your receptionist tips about how to talk to people. I was put on hold twice and answered very rudely just to ask if the Doctor was seeing new patients. Nobody has to take this attitude."

"If I could give less than 1 star I would. ZERO respect for established patients, ZERO courtesy. Wait times are ridiculous and when you finally see a physician (you may get an NP instead) they will spend less than 5 minutes with you and they spend more talking than listening to your concerns. The family knows that their front office is abysmal but I guess that’s par for their course. Well they’ve lost my family as patients. Do yourself a favor and a whole lot of aggravation and go elsewhere."

"I’ve encountered rude staff from different clinics but this place takes the cake for the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. Every interaction I’ve had with them whether it be in the office or over the phone has left a bad taste in my mouth. I speak with respect and I get a response with sarcasm and disgust from them as if I’ve offended them and their family. Even when treated poorly, I say thank you and try to put my best foot forward as I believe what you put out in the universe is what you get back. My first in-office experience was also an off putting one when one of the staff asked me to pay for a $50 copay i didn’t need to pay because they thought I was the other Asian. When I asked them about it, they said my insurance didn’t cover my visit and I corrected them that I was doing an annual physical and it should. I find out later when they were writing out a referral note, they put my name down as someone else with a Chinese name and that’s when I realized they mistaken me as the only other Asian in the office. Maybe it was not intentional they were being racist but the fact that they didn’t ask for my name and just assumed was what made me think other wise. I really like the nurses and doctors inside who are both attentive and kind which makes me want to go back but the staff at the front desk has left such a bad impression on me that I would like to avoid this place at all cost. I understand people have bad days but if this is the service you get every time, its clearly a bigger issue the clinic needs to address with their staff."

"I have no idea why these reviews are poor for this office. The doctors are kind, respectful professional and efficient. The support staff is also very polite and warm. The office is clean. The wait times are reasonable and the waiting area is never packed. In NYC, that alone is very hard to find these days. Most offices are overflowing due to over-booked appointments. Social distancing and covid rules are in full effect at the office. Everyone, from the patients to the staff, make the energy in the office feel like family."
