"Came here because of the good reviews but will not be returning. The therapist was nice but I was there for minimum 2 and a half hours and over 2 of those hours were spent waiting. I was waiting a little over an hour in the waiting room. I asked for an approximate time I would be called in to which I was told that since it was my eval appointment I had to see the therapist first so he’s finishing on a patient and then will call me. When called in I did not see a therapist for another ~45 minutes while the assistant used stalling tactics (which I thought was weird since the therapist didn’t even assess me yet) then I briefly spoke to the therapist and was sent on my way. With commute I just don’t have 3 hours to waste twice a week and wish I knew this before so I’m writing this now."
"Me and my Son, Have both been treated by this practice, Michael and his team are extremely friendly and patient with the exercises they provide you with, Even the assistant who sets the appointments is always polite and helpful. I must say I have been through other PT practices over the years, this one has absolutely top-notch and worth while checking out for anyone in need of physical therapy or occupational therapy. Very accommodating facility deserves 1000 stars all around."
"My mom had a terrible accident and compound fractured both wrists. Post surgery OT was needed. We went to Helping Hands Therapy Center based on a friend's recommendation. Michael Argiro was wonderful! Not only is he a kind, compassionate health care professional but he is also extremely talented and highly qualified. I am sure that my mother's full and speedy recovery was a direct result of Michael's treatment. I would highly recommend Michael without hesitation to anyone who requires OT therapy."
"I had wrist surgery a number of years ago. When I was getting my splint made, I asked if they knew a Physical/Occupational Therapist and found Helping Hands. They do both Physical (PT) and Occupational (OT). Mike, the owner and head therapist, was a phenomenal OT. He is professional, personable and really knows his stuff! He always remembered things we had spoken about previously, asked about the family and talked about things going on in the world. It REALLY helps pass the time while you are doing your exercises. I ended up going back to see him on two other occasions for shoulder problems. 2 years ago, I ended up having major knee surgery. I couldn't see Mike as he is an OT and I needed Physical Therapy. I called the office and ended up doing my PT with Danielle. She is also an awesome therapist. She is caring, personable and knows her stuff! The receptionist, Stefanie, is the final piece of the puzzle. She is on top of her game. Whether it is making new appointments, juggling phone calls while helping patients with paperwork, or just asking how you are when you walk in the door. If you are looking for a great therapy experience and live in Brooklyn, look no further than Helping Hands. A+ all around."
"My daughter sprained her wrist during a softball game. Literally, helping hands therapy center to the rescue. The staff are the absolute BEST. They went above and beyond to make sure that my daughter received an immediate appointment. The therapist, Michael made the splint and the amazing therapy received was outstanding! Job Well Done! Thank you for making this as smooth as possible! And the follow up phone call that evening to check in and make sure she was comfortable was customer service at its finest."
