"My husband just went in as a new patient, he found this doctor through his insurance and showed up to the address that was on his insurance website, he was told the doctor had moved. Quickly he made it to the appointment at the new address but had some trouble with insurance paperwork etc by the time that was squared away he ended up paying out of pocket the full fee because he really needed to see this doctor desperately as he only has a few days left of blood pressure meds. He booked this appointment in advance but because of these mishaps he was still willing to pay out of pocket especially because Dr. Vasquez has such great reviews HOWEVER, after my husband paid he was told by the staff that Dr. Vasquez refused to see him. My husband verbalized the importance of his appointment and that he would wait if need be. obviously the time he spent squaring away the insurance situation was NOT his fault, and couldn’t believe the doctor REFUSED to see him even though he had already paid. He was not even offered a new appointment. We are so surprised that a doctor would actually refuse to see a patient especially when the patient was there for such an important consultation because he needs his blood pressure medications. We understand appointment times are important and my husband was there on time but not expecting the insurance mishap. And he was still willing to pay. Just thought the doctor could have shown a little more humbleness or at the very least offered him another appointment. The office staff didn’t even know how to reimburse his payment. We had high hopes for this doctor Vasquez but we can’t understand how he could have the heart to refuse to see a patient especially knowing he was in need of medication. Very disappointed to be honest!"
