"The staff descriminated after I paid my co.pay. she put me in a room and close the door for 45 mins . I came out of the room and ask where is the doctor and what is the delay. She said is on a call and I have to wait. I demanded my co. Pay back since I had another appointment. She became very aggressive and said I have patients in front of me and I can't deal with you right now So I said how long does it take to open the draw I saw you put the 20.00 in and hand it back to me.. am not a patient also. She continues to ignore me and refused to gave me my money. I then asked for the office manager who she also said was busy. I ask was she also busy like you because am black.? She then shouted 'We don't descriminated! You are disrupting the office and you have to wait until I finish with all these patients . She left me standing there for another 20 mins until I had to leave. Since then I have warned all my friends about the condescending and discrimination behavior at this office. They did not have the decency to send my money in the mail. That are also thieves."

"I hate that I need to leave one star. I trusted this dr and told him something that I did not want my parents to know. I’m over 18, he went and told them. He laughed about it. My parents and I have been through so much turmoil now because of this unethical doctor. He did not care about my needs. The fact that he laughed in my face when I was crying about him telling my parents made me feel so worthless in his eyes. You are a dr, you are suppose to keep information a secret. This is a law. Before this happened he kept telling my mom that we look like sisters and that she has nice hair. Why was he flirting with my mother? He is sleazy and only interested in money. Please go to a better doctor."

"I had a colonoscopy in July 2023. Dr. Ramasamy is a great Dr & get a 5 star. The staff & nurses at Enco-Surgi center at Morris Ave Union are great & deserve 5 star. BUT the staff at his Chestnut st. main office get Zero star if that is a option They are Horrible, Rude, Loud mouthed & show no courtesy to anyone. May be these inner city staff are born & brought up rude. They never identify themselves by name, never show courtesy of call back in spite to leaving messages on VM & w/receptionist. I have full 100% insurance & They treat as if we are charity case & they are doing a great favor by even talking to patients. Most of all they Lie to patients with whatever excuse they can get away with. I called for my biopsy results because discharge note said to call if I don't get results in 10 days. NO response. I called again & again & finally asked for a supervisor named Ana. That supervisor told me on Aug.1 afternoon that in-house lab says results are not ready & will take another week. "Guess what, the pathology final report I received today was issued on Aug.1", the same day she denied having report. No one called me or my PCP for 8 days even when the report was ready in their system. I waited as told & I called after a week (today) & was again robo told by a staff named ledzell or some similar name (I had to insists 3 times to know who I was speaking to & she said her name in a very inaudible tone without bothering to spell it) that the biopsy report is not yet in. When I asked & insisted to speak to her supervisor Ana Fernandez, she suddenly found my pathology report out of her Magic Hat within seconds. This show how cavalier their attitude & behavior is towards patient care. Today is Aug.8 & the final report was issued on Aug.1. Very Very disappointed that Doctor have no supervision on their staff nor do they care over the quality of their office staff & pathetic patient service they provide. I have had better customer service at DMV."

"Got my blood test results back from Lab Corp and the results were sent to Dr Ramasamys office also. Dr Ramasamy was away for the week after seeing me for 2weeks in St Barnabas hospital. The results showed my triglycerides were 1497 !! I called Tuesday morning and requested a phone call from his fill-in..His assistant Aaron Freeman called me on FRIDAY only to tell me to talk to my primary doctor. If there’s such a thing as ZERO stars that’s what I would rate this practice."

"I, also, could not disagree more with the first review. Dr. Ramasamy was very attentive, knowledgeable, and always open to questions--he actually encouraged questions. It was Dr. Ramasamy, whose diligence detected my grandmother's pancreatic cancer at an early stage. He had initially said that cysts on my grandmother's pancreas could turn into a cancerous tumor. Dr. Ramasamy was correct, and regularly-scheduled ultrasonic-guided endoscopies detected the cancer early on. As the grandson, he was always on his game. Dr. "Dan" Ramasamy is definitely a great G.I. doctor. I highly recommend him, and his practice. Appointments/procedures are easily booked with a knowledgeable and friendly staff."
