"Dr Yao has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I’ve ever met. She was cleaning ear wax build up in my ear and said she couldn’t use the microsuction that Drs have always used for me. Instead she dug into my ear manually which was painful and when I’d even flinch she’d scold me like a toddler. At one point she said she wouldn’t continue. I didn’t realize a doctor could just decide to walk away in the middle of the procedure just because they don’t like the patient’s reaction - what if I had been in the middle of surgery. Now, one day later, my ear hurting which has never happened to me after a cleaning. I called to speak with the Dr and was told Dr Yao would call back, but she didn’t. I was grateful to get a next day appointment but now I see why she’s the only ENT with so much availability in the neighborhood."

"I normally do not write reviews about doctors but I felt compelled to write one about Dr. Francisca Yao. Her bedside manners are deplorable; she comes across as condescending and arrogant. She seemed to want to push me to take a test and medication that I was not comfortable with due to the symptoms and side effects they may cause. She seemed irritated when I tried to ask her questions about the test she wanted me to take. I will NOT go back to her; I do not trust her. I regret going to her in the first place. Bad experience. Will seek out a doctor who is not only knowledgeable but caring, understanding and compassionate towards his or her patients."
