"I have been a regular patient of Dr. Bungay for 10+ years. While he is a fine doctor, his support staff is rude and uncooperative. While it used to be possible to make a routine appointment for an annual physical and ailments more urgent...Now they will not schedule anything shorter than 3-4 months out. This is not exactly personal care, which is what one expects in a general MD. Unfortunate."

My point is I know a good doctor when I have one. Been around medicine all my life. Dr. Bungay is a fine doctor: compassionate; thoughtful; responsive; empathetic. Remember when doctors thought they were gods that walked the earth? My father was not like that, and neither is Dr. Bungay.
