"Good evening everyone, Just wanted to share a positive and accurate review to a PCP that's right in town. I Found Dr. Ruben Perez through the Hackensack Meridian Health portal and as everyone knows my reviews are sincere and right to the point. So... Dr. Ruben Perez is located in the heart of Union City. He actually checked off the most important box and it's finding a doctor that would rather cure me naturally than sending me off with a script. I honestly felt like I met my match when it comes to finding a PCP that really fits my needs. I'm not a pill popper and I've tried every natural method out there, but stress and turning 38 has forced me to seek medical attention. The wait time, the up beat and nothing but smiles, staff was awesome. The MA was honest and very blunt, which, my Cuban ancestors and I truly appreciate. The office was very clean and tidy, and last but not least, Dr. Perez understood where I was coming from as a patient. He looked at my record and saw my prior history. His ultimatum is to get you out of whatever unhealthy cycle you were on and place you on a more lean path that fits you personally. "Our lives change everyday, we have to learn to recycle these thoughts and bed decisions in order to lead a healthier life." That's something my dad, (Armando Nelson Araujo), used to say and a vision of him listening to Dr. Rico Perez on the radio comforted me on my way out. Just Keep in mind there is no human alike, but a quick fix was not something I was aiming for. I want to live past 70 with no medical complications to stop me from enjoying life to its fullest. I highly recommend Dr. Ruben Perez as a PCP and pay no mind to the reviews, just check it out for yourself. Thank you guys for such a good experience so close to home, and I can't wait to see you all in 2 weeks :)"

"Staff is helpful and friendly however after being checked in by the nurse, I waited close to 40 minutes for the doctor, I was the only patient there, there was no reason for me to be waiting that long, when the doctor came in, he only asked a few generic questions about how I felt and did a poorly job checking the vitals. The nurse asked me more questions and seemed more interested in what was happening to me than the doctor. I was very optimistic before entering the office but the doctor left me disappointed, the staff was good tho. Also the place needs an update, it looks like it haven't been touched in years, walls have holes and the weight scale was rusty."

"Worse clinic ever!!!! If you care about your family member do not come here. The receptionist do not communicate with each other instead put the blame on the Doctor. My father has not has his medication for over a month and I every time I call it’s always the same the Doctor will call you. I went to the office visit today and when I get there the Doctor is not there he has his own appointment to go to. This is not a place to go to if you need medical attention. 2022 start New and look for another physician that has staffs that actually do care and not get offended or treat you as if you are at fault. I recorded my conversation in order to have proof of how horrible they treat people."
