"Dr. Nelson has been my primary care for at least 15 plus years. I’ve recommended damn near all my family members to him. The main reason I stayed with him is because of his bedside manner and people skills. Lately I’ve noticed the level of service declining. In talking with other family members they’ve shared stories of him showing a don’t care attitude and being border line rude. I’ve been debating if I should look for another primary care…. Well after today, that is exactly what I am going to do. I called at 10:30am today to see I could come in. I have pain in my right knee & leg. The receptionist who by the way speaks broken English and is hard to understand tells me I could come at 12pm. I get there at 12:02 and the doors are locked. I knock and both Dr Nelson & the receptionist look at me and wave me away. I tried telling them that I just called however they continued to wave me away as if I was a damn peasant. I was shocked and couldn’t believe what just happened! I have great job with excellent benefits/insurance. I refuse to allow this man to get any more of my insurance money! I am also going to do everything in my power to convince my family to find another PCP. I am going to call Monday morning for my medical records and I’m done. I’d rather give my business to a doctor who has bedside manner and care about his patients and most importantly someone who is better skilled. Sometimes you have to know when to move on and now is my time."

"Dr.nelson is a patient and kind doctor. He remembers you, and takes the time to talk to you. He spends as much time as you need to explain your health issues/ diagnoses. If you have any concerns or questions he will take the time to respond to all your questions. He is genuinely concerned for his patients well being, and follows up on his patients. Dr Nelson was so kind and helpful and explained details about my condition through images and was very thorough. He provided multiple options as a solution to my health issues and I felt like he was very receptive and open to my comments. I highly recommend dr. Nelson !"

"I called the office and was put, on hold for 7 minutes, then the person that picked up rudely refused to give her name, then put me back on hold for another 8 minutes, then the doctor himself picked up the call and he was also rude and talked over me. I was not able to get out the reason for my call he kept talking about he is too busy. HORRIBLE PROVIDER AND STAFF. NEITHER OF THEM SHOULD BE IN PATIENT CARE IF THEY CANT HAVE EMPATHY OR PROPER MANNERS."
