""She used to be my mother's Dr, back in 2020 my mother was having trouble swallowing. She called Dr Chavez several times, and Dr Chavez kept telling her it was stress due to the pandemic. My mom asked her to please refer her to a specialist (gastroenterologist) to check her because she was also losing weight, she said she was not going to do that because there was nothing wrong with her, that it was all in her head. One day I come home to find my mother laying on the couch in pain, I called Dr. Chavez asking to please rush an appointment with the specialist, she got extremely rude, told me "I told your mother this, is all in her head, there is nothing wrong with her I am not rushing anything". That was August 2020, we were finally able to get an appointment with a specialist for September 2020 it turns out she had a huge tumor in her esophagus, actually melanoma CANCER!!! My mother had one of the most aggressive cancers. It was about to touch her stomach and spread like fire. My mother passed away on June 27, 2023, after almost a 3-year battle with Cancer, other doctors were horrified when I would explain what Dr Chavez did. So, all these great reviews I am sure are staff, family and friends because I have even met other people that had the problem. She should not be seeing patients at all; she is not a real Dr. ""

"If I could give 0/5 stars I would. My parents go to her as their primary and the amount of care and effort she puts in their level of care is zero to none. She is always rushing through their appointments and my parents do not feel heard when they try to discuss their concerns. Chavez does phone call appointments and it's been a few times where my parents would wait several hours after their scheduled time to get a call back. Whenever they have to get to get labs its a nightmare to have her read their results back, my parents have to call he office 1+ months after to see if they can finally have her tell them what the results meant. Service is a 0/10. Do not recommend her at all. Go to another doctor that will truly value you health and concerns"

"She is the worst...This should be a ZERO STATS !!! Don't waste your time.. My cousin was 12 minutes late for her appointment and they have a 15 minute grace period and they told her the doctor said she couldn't see her. My cousin is a diabetic and they refused care.. Stay away from this office and this doctor.. Patient well being is not their priority.. Seriously stay away... They also delete all negative remarks."
