Mount Sinai Doctors-Yonkers

"As far as the medical assistant and front desk.. I would give the place 5 stars. Professional, clean and organized. I had an appointment for a physical and not a long wait time. But as far as the physician.. if I could give ZERO STARS I would. I will never go back to her. I had presented to her symptoms of an ongoing cough that has persisted for now weeks. I told her it began when my kid got sick. She asked a few questions and felt my stomach area saying with the tenderness in one area and not the other is Acid Reflux.. gave me script for OMP 40mg plus allergy meds.. told me to take l over the counter cough med.. see her six months. Well I was sick til I decided to go to urgent care for another opinion.. He immediately diagnosed me with Bronchitis.. And sent me the meds.. Thank god I went and I am starting to feel FINALLY better already being on day 2. If I go back there .. I will try another doctor But if I have to deal with the same incompetence again.. that’s it for me."

"Made an appointment with Dr. Hassan (cardiologist). I never got to see the doctor because I didn’t have a referral. The receptionist was a miserable and rude human being. When your dealing with health issues that scare you the last thing you need is someone who is rude and dismissive. Unfortunately, they don’t teach compassion and consideration when hiring or training staff. Everything happens for a reason, I ended up seeing my dads cardiologist who has a friendly staff and the most current technology."

"Worst doctors office, stay away. They sent me bills which my insurance covers, Everytime I go in. Not worth the hassle, they're never on time, lose your paperwork, and don't give you blood work results unless you call for over a month"

"The staff and the doctors are amazing, you may have to wait because they are so busy but they are worth the wait, especially Dr Gitig, he is the best."
