"Painful and terrible experience. The technician, Krisin, was not competent at getting correct images and slammed me repeatedly while barking orders, still unable to get an image she wanted. I finally walked out- in pain- still without the images needed. A friend of mine had a similar experience. Instead of going back, I scheduled an appointment at Englewood Hospital. It was so much better. The people were professional and friendly. The technician was wonderful and she got necessary images in only 4 scans. Do yourself a favor. Go the Englewood Hospital and AVOID AMI."

"My first appointment here was for a mammogram in December and it was good. The staff is ok, the doctor was super explanatory. My 2nd visit the technician advised i would need to remove my bra, due to the metal undwire, got it no problem. Well i was having some difficulty and i heard the knock at the door, it was rhe technician asking if i was ready, and he goes to open the door! Sir, who knocks and then just automatically enters WITHOUT waiting for a response?.. No big deal, I had ny CT scan and was done within 20 minutes."

"Watch out for yourself, they will not. For over 15 years Advanced Imaging Center and Englewood Hospital has been telling me about high risk breast cancer, and wanting me to have an MRI. I did not feel it was necessary. When I showed up for a scheduled ultrasound after my mammogram, Advanced Imaging Center refused me. They said they would not do the scheduled ultrasound, told me to go to my doctor and get a prescription for an MRI. My doctor who is a Physicians Assistant, was surprised, but gave me the prescription. AMI never mentioned that MRI which they do commonly these days (now I know why) is still not 100% covered by insurance. I stupidly thought it was. I need to mention that they we not tracking anything, there were no red flags of any kind. I went for the MRI. It was clear, (I knew it would be) then got hit with a $1400.00 co-pay. I cannot afford to go for medical tests that insurance doesn't cover completely. When I called billing, told them the whole story, they were not interested, she said “there is nothing I can do for you sweetie”. I am now in collections. Englewood Hospital receives $1047.00 for uninsured patients. My insurance paid $1332.75, which is roughly $300.00 over what insurance paid. They don’t care. They still want $1400.00 from me. They told me there was nothing they can do, that I should call the collections lawyers and work out a plan. This is a money making deal. Advanced Imaging Center and Englewood Hospital receive more money for treatments and tests that insurance doesn’t cover completely, if you need a test that insurance doesn’t completely cover, ask them what you would pay for uninsured, it may be less. Please please please watch out for yourself. They will absolutely not. You are a money sign to them. I will never go to either center again and will warn people. You deserve better care."
