As a passionate and highly qualified physiotherapist, Alyssa combines her extensive knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology to offer personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Alyssa's journey into physical therapy began with a deep-rooted interest in the sciences, particularly those related to the human body. She pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. Her commitment to learning led her to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro College School of Health Sciences, where she graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA.

Since joining Twin Boro Physical Therapy in September 2020 as the Clinical Director of the Wyckoff location, Alyssa has brought her expertise in both inpatient and outpatient settings to the forefront. Her approach to therapy is highly individualized, incorporating manual therapy techniques, strength training, and motor control strategies to ensure optimal recovery outcomes for her patients.

Alyssa's diverse clinical experience enables her to treat a wide range of conditions, from post-surgical recovery to neuromuscular disorders. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), applying evidence-based practices to enhance her therapeutic interventions. Her dedication to continuous education is reflected in her completion of numerous courses focusing on orthopedic and neuromuscular practices.

Central to Alyssa's philosophy is the empowerment of her patients through active education and involvement in their care decisions. She utilizes Twin Boro Physical Therapy’s One2FourTM Care Model, which guides patients from initial recovery to achieving peak physical performance, ensuring they fully understand their treatment journey.

Outside of her professional life, Alyssa enjoys staying active by going to the gym, hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
