"I don’t know the name of the Dr I saw because they didn’t introduce themselves. She was very cold and very rude to the woman who was entering my info into the computer. Her suggestions had nothing to do with why I came in (she wanted me to have a body scan for skin cancer, I had hives) and was just very put upon and dismissive. Apt ended wit her trying to sell me their skin care. I wont return."

"My dermatologist Dr. Gwen Abeles located in Montvale, NJ had diagnosed an area on my face with basal cell skin cancer. She suggested I read about the radiation therapy. I was a bit uncertain of this procedure but read the pamphlet she gave me. I already had gone through the Mohs procedure years earlier on my nose & there was some scaring and a long time healing. I proceeded with the radiation therapy. It was not at all painful. her radiologist was extremely trained & the procedure went very smooth. The results were amazing. I had no pain, scaring, or visible effects from the radiation. I would highly recommend this procedure & have the confidence in her staff. I have been going to Dr. Abeles for years. She has been very thorough checking me over those years, as well as being very patient with any questions I may have had. Her staff is of the utmost efficient & accommodating. "From the minute you walk in the office it is welcoming and friendly. The staff is truly the best. Dr. Abeles takes as much time as you need to answer all questions intelligently and gives you various treatment options. While she does recommend her own line it is not pushed upon you in any way. The front desk is always so pleasant when I call for a last minute appointment. Overall considering you have to be at a doctor's office the experience is pleasant and positive. You feel they really have an interest n your welfare and comfort."
