"Love him. Hate the practice. I gave the practice 1 star. Wish 0 stars was a thing. I really wish Dr Coutinho would just go to a better practice where he can actually practice the way he wants to. "I had a stricture in my urethra, which is a small area where it is narrower than the rest of the length of the tube. I have had this problem for a long time, once previously having had a relatively unsuccessful surgery. The moment Dr. Coutinho walked into the examining room, I knew things were finally going to change. First of all, he exudes both confidence and pragmatism. He is someone who knows the literature and despite his youthful appearance has been there before when it comes to surgical procedures, something everyone wants in a surgeon. The way he presented my surgical options was forthright and clear. I had to decide between a procedure with a long recovery time with a 90% success rate and one with a much shorter recovery that had a 70% success rate. I decided on the latter because I did not want to get laid up in bed and have to take opioids for the pain inherent in open surgery. Well, add me to the 70%. Thank you, Dr. Coutinho.
