Reviews
"5 ☆☆☆☆☆ review was NOT ONLY because the selection in this location is to die for. The 5☆'s are for the exemplary customer service, first in womens shoes. I visited on Friday afternoon, the place was A MESS! UNSHOPPABLE! I DID purchase 3 pair of shoes BUT it took me forever to find a matching pair. Then, when I finally got to the check out, SOMEONE put a clearance tag on 1 of the shoes which was kinda embarrassing. However, fast forward to Saturday, early evening. The shoe department associate ORGANIZED the entire department! By size, left & right...every pair. Even the clearance table that was EMPTY. AND... she was pleasant, helpful & all smiles. The sales associate in the jewelry department assisted me with an electric travel TOOTHBRUSH & was equally as pleasant. Thank you, TJ Brooklyn, for an awesome experience!"
"Rudest manager. She scolded me for trying to return an item with a slightly damaged box that was damaged when I purchased it. Then proceeded to blame me for damaging it. Had to argue to prove I didn't damage it and everything was in it's right place and intact. Instead of apologizing she had the nerve to tell me she was going to take it as a "courtesy". Like she was doing me a favor rather than just doing her job. Then the cashier proceeds to tell me food items should be returned the next day and tells me to read the sign that clearly doesn't say that at all."
"The security guy is always nice, the cashiers are helpful. These are all the pros. I can’t say anything else good about this store. It’s messy. There is no staff on floor to assist the customers. I had to walk through all 4 floors to find a lady next to the fitting rooms so she could tell me that the customers are on their own. I tried calling Customer Service line, but apparently the office is closed after 5pm. Unsuccessful attempt. I was happy to walk into Century 21 store, which is way cleaner. A young man helped me find the right department for my needs. I definitely prefer C21 to TJMaxx now. Disappointed."
"Messy, hard to navigate, many escalators are broken. I do love searching for a good bargain there though. It's worth the mess. You find gorgeous things at discounted prices."
"Fairly priced, fairly small and heavy traffic, it could be cleaner and more organized."
