"Could be better. It is a decently big store but The product selection is limited compared to the one on McDonald’s Avenue/dahill rd. Drinks are not of variety, cleaning/laundry missing items, electronics are meh. Tissue shelves are almost empty most of the time Freezer is meh. Food and canned food are ok. They do not stock items as much as they should either or missing item all together compared to the other store. It’s either items are selling fast and they can’t catch up or they are not ordering enough. Overall good. Cashiers are great. Store Could be better though"
"If I had the chance to rate it with 0 start I would, the place is disorganized, crowded, empty shelves, worthless and wasted products on the floor, only two employees at cashier with no assistance with balloons and the worse of all is that at the end of the checkout there’s a lady employee who speak Spanish who charge us an item more and her excuse was because she had to because the bottles of juice cost money :) I had went to a dollar tree before and this never happened before, it doesn’t make sense because she charge us a cheese puff instead of another drink. Lady’s and gentlemen check your bill because they might charge you more for nothing."
"Store is supposed to be open at 8. For the past few days who ever is on schedule has not opened up on time. Almost 8:30 and that store was not opened. Not to bash or sound harsh but employees there need to be fired. A job is a job. You applied there to work so be grateful you have a job. If you dnt want to work there or your job makes you miserable leave! Alot of ppl are complaining about their rude unpleasant responses and unprofessional behavior. One girl didn't even bag ppls items or ask if they needed a bag. She just checked the items out and waited for the customer to pay. Another lady was so overwhelmed with the long line or bc there was a lot of customers and was cursing to herself. Like hello we can still hear u. I think ppl around this neighborhood was happy there's a dollar tree here but what's the point if shelves are almost bare and employees are acting like they're doing you a favor??? Management where are u at? U need to be replaced as well!"
"I visited this Dollar Tree location (a little over an hour before closing on a Tuesday night) after having been a regular customer of the Hamilton Avenue location. Note that the Hamilton Avenue location is located in a shopping center that is mostly accessible only to people who drive there and gets very, very little walkby traffic, which makes a difference as people rarely just stroll by with their kids and walk into that location, as opposed to this 18th Avenue location... When I walked in I noted that the store was not very busy and there were plenty of little shopping carts available for use. I came in specifically to get hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, and some automobile specific scents to put in the car, as well as to look through the entire store to see how similar it was to the other location. I noticed right away that some aisles were very messy (specifically the arts and crafts aisle and the snacks aisle) which I believe was likely due to kids rummaging through the store and being curious, picking things up and not putting them back properly. I also noted that the automotive section was very bare and the scent options were very limited. The medical/self care aisle was only stocked with the green colored 50% rubbing alcohol. The frozen section was not very well stocked and some items appeared to be on the wrong shelves in the refrigerators meaning items that were supposed to be $1.25 were in the $3.00 section. Overall, I wasn't pleased with the store. I was not impressed with the variety of canned and packaged food options (again, I'm comparing this to the Hamilton Avenue location) and I spent 20+ minutes in the store and I never saw another employee besides the one cashier, who seemed to be working by herself (however, I'm sure she wasn't alone, I just didn't see anyone else) . She was great. I ended up purchasing 2 Father's Day cards at $1 each and a retractable measuring tape for $1.25. I gave it 3 stars because 3 stars means "it's ok", but I personally disliked it and I don't see myself going back there."
"Customer Service via phone (6101 18th Ave Brooklyn, NY 11204) are rude and short temperament. I was cut off when I was giving her my name. She then put me on hold to then hang up on me. I had to call back two more times just for her to yet again cut me off and tell me mam your order is here Why did she feel the need to disrespect a customer of the store, especially for a simple question. The store Manager needs to address this."
