"I recently visited the Petco located at 525 Cabela Dr, Triadelphia, WV, and had a deeply disappointing experience. While browsing the dog food aisle, I was horrified to discover worms inside one of the dog food products. This is absolutely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the store’s cleanliness and quality control. As a pet owner, the health and safety of my pets are my top priorities. Finding worms in a dog food bag not only shows a lack of proper storage and handling but also poses a significant risk to pets' health. This experience left me questioning the overall sanitation practices at this Petco location. I immediately brought the issue to the attention of the staff, expecting a prompt and professional response. Unfortunately, their reaction was far from satisfactory. The staff member I spoke with seemed indifferent and did not appear to take the issue seriously. There was no apology or assurance that the matter would be addressed immediately. The lack of urgency and concern from the staff was incredibly disappointing. This kind of oversight and poor customer service is unacceptable, especially in a store dedicated to pet supplies. It is crucial for pet stores to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and product quality to ensure the well-being of our pets. I urge the management of this Petco location to thoroughly investigate and rectify these issues. Proper training for staff on handling such complaints and ensuring that all products are stored in sanitary conditions should be a priority. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this Petco location to other pet owners. I hope my feedback will prompt necessary changes to prevent such issues in the future. Until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere where I can trust the quality and safety of the products for my pets."

"Everyone there is always friendly when I go in the customer assistance never takes longer than a minute and then their fish tanks are just downright perfect they’re practically crystal clear the fish are easy to see so you know what ones you want the tanks are big enough to actually hold the fish they have and they care about the water temperature.I was getting some fish and snails but the fish were heated and the snail wasn’t so they didn’t put them in the same bag which you would think should be at every pet store but not from my experience"

"I needed a substrate better than the coconut husk fiber I was already using for my toads terrarium. As soon as I entered the store and asked for someone who knew about toads, I was greeted with a plethora of information and answers I didn't realize I needed. I got the substrate to solve my issues and even crickets and mealworms for not just my toads but my spider too!!"

"I love this place. They have great animals here. I want this cute lil bird and one of these chameleons soooooo bad."
