1. Online Tax Payments:

2. Volunteer First Responders Property Tax Credit:
- We are in the process of finalizing an ordinance (03-24-OR) that will grant property tax credits to individuals who volunteer with local fire departments or non-profit EMS services. This initiative is being developed in collaboration with the Department of Emergency Services. Stay tuned for more details on eligibility and application processes.
3. Delinquent Fees:
- A one-time 5% penalty fee is applied to delinquent accounts, with an additional 1% interest accruing monthly. Ensure timely payments to avoid these charges.
4. Property Information:

5. Short-Term Rentals Tax:
- If you are renting out your property for less than 30 days, you are required to collect a 7% tax from your guests and submit it to the Treasurer’s Office. For more information, contact our Special Tax department at 412-350-4114.
6. Property Tax Relief:
- Primary residence owners in Allegheny County may be eligible for a reduction of $18,000 in the assessed value of their home for county tax purposes. Applications for Act 50 relief will also be considered for Act 1 relief if applicable.
