Reviews
"Like the other reviews say, this place sucks. Literally everything is under lock and key and there are usually only 2 people working here so getting your things and checking out takes forever. The absolute worst"
"This store had the bright idea of installing a bottle and can recycling machine in the front of the store near checkout. People (many homeless) come inside the store with large bags of cans/bottles dripping unsanitary liquids onto the floor and causing disturbances. While I appreciate the concept of a machine where people are incentivized to return cans and bottles, in New York City their locations need to be chosen more wisely. I will not be returning to this store until this machine and the mayhem that comes with it has been removed."
"I usually don't stop at this location... Today I bought, before noon two items, one boxed band aid and a self adhering wrap. The man behind the counter ask me if I needed a bag, though he can't visually see I don't have one. Duane reade has bag, is part of service. It looks bad overall to walk out of the store with two items, no receipt and holding a service animal on a leash. And then he went on to add that people walk out without a bag sometimes... I said, you mean the people that steal from you, I personally know that giving my clients a simple bag to carry a small art frame is basic, service. The woman in front of me bought a set of orthopedic soles for shoes, and the man asked her the same, do you need a bag? There are so many bags behind the counter. Just complete the service, and exit is more prompt..."
"Timely help accessing the locked section. But the cashier was slow, mumbled, and unhelpful with a rapidly growing line. My mood fell three notches. Will be avoiding this draining location."
