"Quite literally hell on earth. The worst place to have to go into. The staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. Everything is locked up due to rampant theft, so you actually need the staff to help you get most items and they act like they can’t possibly be bothered to do their job. There is typically only 1 cashier for a long line of people 10+ deep trying to check out, so it takes forever. I would never go here if it wasn’t across the street from where I live."

"Do not use this pharmacy. The staff are extremely rude for no reason. The woman at the register clearly hates her job and takes it out on the customer. She should not be dealing with people."

"All went perfectly fine at the pharmacy. Took 3 hours max from the time I had my doc appointment to when I got my meds, there was no line and the tech was extremely friendly."

"The experience with the pharmacy was not too pleasant. I believe when we are nice to others, they will be friendly. When I was there, it was not pleasant at all. People seemed to be upset. It’s just that the wait time of the pharmacy was super long in the middle of the day, and I had to go back and forth with one prescription. I would avoid going there so the staff do not get so much work. The staff were kind, but I did not get the prescription needed in a timely manner. I wished I read the reviews before getting the prescription sent there. Sad."

The lack of care and attention I received from the pharmacy staff was unacceptable, and I was very disappointed with the level of customer service I received. I would not recommend Duane Reade to anyone looking for a positive and efficient experience. The rude and slow service in the pharmacy department makes it a very unpleasant place to do business."
