Born and raised in Niagara Falls, New York, Dr. Andres is deeply rooted in the local community. He graduated summa cum laude from Niagara University with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences/Biology and earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the State University of New York at Buffalo. With a commitment to excellence, he completed his residency locally and is board certified in family medicine.

Dr. Andres is an esteemed member of the medical staff at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, NY. His extensive career includes serving as the Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and as Clinical Director of the Tuscarora Reservation Health Center for over a decade. A veteran of the Air Force, Dr. Andres achieved the rank of Lt. Colonel and served as a flight surgeon. Additionally, he dedicated over 20 years as the Team Physician for Niagara University’s Division I Men’s basketball team.

An advocate for education, Dr. Andres is on the clinical faculty of the Jacobs School of Medicine at the University of Buffalo, where he has been honored with the prestigious Siegel Award for Excellence in Teaching. He has also been recognized as a Family Medicine “Top Doctor” by Buffalo Spree magazine. His commitment to community service is evident through his roles on the Board of the Youngstown Free Library and the Lewiston Porter school district school board.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Andres enjoys a variety of recreational activities, including history, gardening, sailing, and music. He is an accomplished musician, playing guitar and bass in local bands, and is a devoted fan of local sports teams.

Dr. Andres, along with his wife Claudia, resides in Youngstown, NY, where they have raised their six children.
