I never had a problem with him nor did I ever have a conflict with him. They could have at least given me a reason why."

"This unethical office prioritizes billing & money over their patients actual care. I don't know if this is a reflection of Dr. Raphael himself, whom I've had a pleasant experience with, but understand that the office staff does not care about you and will not try and help you when you're in an emergency situation. They're the worst physicians office I've come into contact with. Be warned that anytime you need a referral to a specialist, even in an *emergency situation* and having received a direct referral from an ER doctor, you MUST visit Dr. Raphael in-person first before he allows an insurance approved referral or your left paying out of pocket. I was out of the area and needing to follow up with a ENT immediately after an emergency abscess removal in my neck, and his office refused to put a referral through which my insurance needs in order to be covered, unless I came in and saw him first. Stay well and away and shame on his useless office staff. **Just to illustrate how terrible this office is- the ENT's office who I was scheduled to see ended up taking me in for my appointment without my insurance approved referral and did NOT bill me because they saw how unfortunate my situation was and said they wanted to make sure I was okay above all things. Now that's an ethical doctors office."
