"Very disappointing. Waited several months for initial appointment and then several weeks for an injection. MD now requests neurology consult before next injection. 3 weeks after the visit MD hasn’t even entered his notes so that staff can send the referral. PA and MD refuse to prescribe anything except invasive injections for pain (refusing even a simple increase of Gabapentin or a muscle relaxant.) I thought this was supposed to be a pain management specialist."
"Anyone who says Lynn or any of these doctors are qualified to help people in severe pain are either her friends or military that she has a crush on. She’s the most unprofessional non-doctor out there! For my severe pain she was going to give me seizure medication, which I’ve already tried and it does not work. I had successfully been on proper medication and had just moved to Watertown and she ignored all of my medical records and did nothing for me treating me worse than a raccoon she had just run over!!! After that she just stated, “Then I cant help you!” What is wrong with Samaritan and their staff???"
"I have been going there for years and FNP Lynn Barber is WONDERFUL!! She always takes time to talk with me - she never ever rushes our appointments and if for some reason I have a problem in between appointments and call she returns my call very fast and is always kind to me. I honestly could not ask for a better doctor. Anyone in need of an awesome pain soeacilist MUST see her-"
"I previously saw NP Sue Walker prior to her retirement, she listened and understood I am not a doctor and need to be walked through options and all that comes with different procedures. I recently saw Lynn Barber and I have never been treated so poorly by a medical professional. She was brash, curt, cut me off and told me she had other patients to see. I had waited over 45 minutes. to see her, for my first visit and she gave me 30 minutes, cut me off and told me she had other patients to get to. These are major procedures that can affect your quality of life, asking questions and/or voicing concerns should be openly accepted and explained. Add to that this was my first visit with her and she asked nothing. After she cut off our conversation I advised that I was no longer comfortable with the conversation and I would not be returning. This is absolutely not acceptable when dealing with chronic pain and the risks associated with treatment not being thoroughly outlined. I was trying to pick a route of treatment that would best suit my lifestyle and history, she was irritated, aggravated and completely unprofessional."
