"“Customer Service” Representative, Precious Johnson, refused to give me her name and threatened to call TSA on me after asking for her name so I could report her behavior to United. Given that she was the one who was being rude, I continued to ask for her name so that I could contact her manager. From the get go Precious had an unnecessary attitude towards customers who were experiencing delayed flights and missed connections, an already stressful situation given that there were no additional flights at night. When I asked about information shared by her female coworker who was at the gate earlier, Precious, claimed it was “incorrect.” I kindly suggested that if incorrect information is being shared, retraining is necessary. She then said I was being rude because her coworker had “mental issues.” Additionally, the coworker stated earlier that they were unable to see why the plane was delayed, Precious claimed it was weather related and because of missing my connection, I would need to front the bill for the hotel. When I asked to speak with her male coworker instead of herself, Precious also refused this stating he had gone home. When I boarded the plane he reappeared at the gate, helping customers to board quickly. Clearly, she was lying. @United if Precious’ lies, attitude and general behavior is indicative of your customer service employees, then they truly do need retraining in customer service because they are anything but!"
"Pity there is no 0 stars. Our flight was cancelled. Initially they claimed all flights out of Buffalo were cancelled due to weather. Of course this was not the case, considered that all other airlines were operating on schedule. They proposed us a new flight out of Toronto, departing in one hour (impossible to get). Since we did not accept it, they proposed one out of Cleveland the day after but they claimed they could not refund us any hotel or transfer to Cleveland because, our fault, we didn't accept the impossible one from Toronto. In a 2 minute conversation they did not option the flight from Cleveland and it was gone. Again they claimed it was our fault. We had to accept a much worse flight, with connections, departing 24 hours later from an airport located 200 miles away without compensations. I am now making sure I will never give any single dollar more to this company anymore"
"Our flight to Newark was canceled, which was supposed to connect to our Dublin flight. We asked for help rescheduling. Very little was done and we ended up having to go to another airline to reschedule everything. We also have not seen the refund we were told we would get. They were smirking by the time we came back to see about more help and the seats were gone for the next day. No kindness at all. We want a refund as was promised, for both flights."
"Worst airline I have ever been on. Delayed connecting flight, so I missed my second flight AND the airplane that I got to take to nearest city was delayed 15 minutes to accommodate another connecting flight. Absolute hipocracy and overall terrible experience for me"
