"Wife had appointment canceled an hour and a half before hand. Tried to get her to wait over a month for the reschedule for an appointment she already had to wait almost two months for. She was able to talk to a nurse and get in sooner. The doctor saw her for two seconds and talks like he’s in a rush. He gave her a cpap prescription. She has yet to get her prescription ( it’s been a month now). She has called the doctors office 3 times over a week and every time they say someone will call her back but hasn’t. The receptionist are rude, unprofessional, and liars. The rest of the staff seems lazy and uncaring. We are trying to switch to UHS. I just can’t believe the lack of care. I wouldn’t go here if you could go anywhere else. This place doesn’t care about your health but they sure don’t mind billing you."
"Extremely rude office staff, they act like you calling is an inconvenience. The doctor only sees me for like 2 minutes and tries to throw more medications at me without investigating anything. Luckily he is ordering me a CT of my lungs. He diagnosed me with COPD in December 2022, then redacted that from my file, and I asked “I need a CT to confirm if I have CoPD or not” and he said “why would you think you have COPD? You don’t smoke!”… needless to say, after I get my CT, I’ll likely try to switch offices for my pulmonary treatment."
"Second cancellation from their end and wanna reschedule me a month later. This place is inconvenient and rude on the phone because the rescheduling you all the time. Give you a zero if I could."
"Appointment was canceled by office about 3 hours before it was scheduled. I can only rate my experience, which never happened. Usually the wait is fairly short, and the visit may feel rushed. They wanted me to a virtual visit immediately, which I couldn’t since I can’t drop everything (like my work) to accommodate them. This is the third time a practice at Lourdes has canceled. I hope they get better when Guthrie takes over. I understand emergencies happen but 3x?"
"Dr Shaw was attentive, through and clear regarding my treatment plan! He was inquisitive regarding other connective services! Being sure my treatment wasn’t causing other issues or side effects! In addition to ordering test as well as different screens! He encouraged me to change my oxygen equipment and checked on the status of the sleep pap machine, he ordered an extremely long ago! I was afraid I was being unfairly treated because I receive Blue Cross Blue Shield & Medicaid! Mostly because the lack of response from the supply services department! I realize my form of insurance doesn’t pay well! However, I am very appreciative to Lourdes Pulmonary services and Dr. Shaw and his staff of associates for the care I receive! Monica DixonDaymond"
