Reviews
"Waited here until the 4 AM train to Manhattan showed up. Station manager showed up earlier and opened station for passengers earlier than scheduled. Much appreciated."
"In all seriousness, their station is open 5 hours a day. thank God I had somewhere to wait for the train that arrives at 4:30 am"
"This was our first time inside the 'new' Exchange Street Station, and I was impressed. It's a dramatic improvement over the tiny little station that was here years ago. The building is clean and bright, with a fairly spacious waiting area. I was pretty amazed that the seating units each had a outlet box (2 standard electrical outlets, one USB outlet, and one USB-C outlet) just under the seats. An additional comfort for waiting passengers is that the building seems to have a good deal of noise insulation. With the proximity to the 190 overpass, there's almost no sound that makes it into the building. Access to the train platform is now by stairs and a wheelchair ramp, both with nice railings and space. There's a dedicated bus pull-in area, which is separate from the parking lot, so less chance of anyone getting blocked in. This also allows for people getting on/off a connecting bus to do so away from street, or parking lot, traffic."
"Easy and beautiful. Waiting area was comfortable. Bathrooms were clean at the station. Going to the bathroom on the moving train was challenging. Great views. Business class was nice. Lots of leg room."
"It's a new station so there's no grime thankfilly but I am disappointed by the size and lack of amenities. Only one vendor stand which is not open late and no other nearby businesses. There is a lot but hardly any spaces. Station is well lit but is closed from 11pm to 330am. There are 3 stations in the Buffalo-Niagara area but this one could have used more attention. City developers should be building more around this area considering the Bison Stadium and high end luxury projects are in close proximity. Right now this shiney station is a glimmer in a pretty alienating back lot of downtown. Vacant warehouses and empty stretches. Not a soul around. This tiny platform seriously cost 28 million?"
