Reviews
"It was my first time out all these years and it was like paradise everything was amazing and organized and a lot to offer all in one nothing but smiles"
"Great place to walk your dog or have a picnic."
"One of Buffalo's most beautiful spots. This path is newly repaved and winds around the entire circumference of Hoyt Lake, within the confines of Delaware Park. Delaware Park borders the popular and trendy Elmwood Village area of the city, and is of the Frederick Law Olmstead's most unique gems, and contributions to the Queen City. Olmstead aimed to create a "city within a park" rather than a park within a city, as had been done already in New York City with its Central Park. This part of the park has a wooded area where dogs romp after squirrels, and the path is great for jogging, walking dogs (on leash), renting canoes and paddle boats in the summer, and a huge hill behind the Rose Gardens for sledding in the winter. There are benches that line the west side of the path. Come and enjoy Buffalo's beautiful network of parkways, parks and outdoor recreation areas along its many different shorelines."
