Reviews
"I grew up down the road from here. You have to park and walk past the gate."
"Beware, you cannot get in here. There is a closed gate and a nice sign warning you away with the promise of police being called. We drove 2.5 hours to see this place and had to leave. Very disappointing."
"Pennsylvania awarded 600 acres of land in the Allegheny Valley to Cornplanter and his heirs in perpetuity, however, when the Kinzua Dam and Allegheny Reservoir were built in 1965, the valley was permanently flooded over most of the Cornplanter land grant. Many cemeteries had to be relocated, including this Cornplanter Cemetery and monument. Tucked away in a remote corner, the site is a humbling experience to visit. Trinkets left by visitors humble the heart. Visit the Seneca museum in Salamanca to learn more about the effects of flooding the valley."
