Welcome to the Veterinary Medical Center operated by Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh. Located at 6926 Hamilton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15208, our center is dedicated to providing affordable and comprehensive veterinary care for your beloved domestic dogs and cats. We welcome all pets, not just those adopted from our shelter!

Services Offered:

- Preventative Veterinary Care: General wellness exams, vaccinations, and dentistry.

- Surgical Services: General soft tissue surgery, spay and neuter surgeries.

- Illness & Injury Care: Treatment for minor health problems and end-of-life care.

- Specialized Care: Our centers are staffed with licensed veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and dedicated animal care specialists to ensure your pet receives the best care possible.

Operational Hours:

- Admissions/Intakes (By Appointment Only):

- Tuesday – Friday: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

- Saturday – Sunday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

- Appointment Hours:

- Monday: Closed

- Tuesday – Friday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

- Saturday: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

- Sunday: Appointment only

Important Note: While we provide a range of veterinary services, our clinic is not equipped to handle emergency situations. For emergencies, please seek immediate care at a specialized emergency veterinary hospital.

Mission & Policy:

In line with our mission to reduce pet overpopulation, all animals utilizing our services must be spayed or neutered or scheduled for such procedures. We also maintain a Zero-Tolerance Policy for abusive behavior to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our staff, clients, and patients. Clients who engage in any abusive behavior will be asked to leave immediately.
