"Just as others have mentioned, It took an hour to get to a person I could talk to. I had mailed via certified mail all of my Disability retirement paperwork to the Buffalo SSA office, OWCP office, OPM Office, and my previous employers office. All sent the same day 11 months ago for a Feb.5th 2024 disability retirement date. So now SSA says that they never received it, when the other (3) certified mailings made it to their destinations and are still working on their responsibilities. So the agent said I must of sent it to the wrong SSA office, and yhen hung up on me!!!! Why are they allowed to get away with such rude behavior?? So now as I have also done before, i will make the trip and deal with them face to face in their office with the certified receipt. Meantime, OWCP has stopped benefits, OPM benefits are about 1/4 of what OWCP was paying me. So I will most likely have to live out of my car in a few months. And I had working salaries in the 70 and 80K ranges. I'm 100% disabled at the age of 61 years young??"

"The clerks know absolutely nothing about the basic requirements for a SSN and drive you crazy, especially Canadians. Go somewhere else."

"Visited the office in the morning on Thursday April 25 2024. Very Impressed with Hiedi, took my information, answered all the questions and made appointment for the phone call. Found her professional, courteous, meticulous and fast worker. Security Personal Toland was prompt in opening doors, very polite, cool, helpful in guiding and answered questions about use of ticket machine. Very happy with the service provided by the above team members."

"This office had been good however on May 8th, seemed like all were on vacation, four attempts and last one was 33:33 minutes long before my call went dead. Before then, folks seemed kind and helpful. I guess we all have our bad days."
