"I would give negative starts I contracted Mr. Azad Mohammad in July 11, 2023. Our plan was to do a renovation for the first floor of my home and eventually in the future get it ready for a second floor extension. He failed to take out any permits as required by law. He ignored my request and moved forward with the house renovations as he saw fit. After doing the demolition he stated everything should be fine and move on smoothly. However,the house stayed demolished for months with minimal progress. Every week he would come to me asking for more money. He refused to take checks and only wanted cash, which I found very shady. The contract stated that he was responsible for the kitchen bathroom and add new floors, however I had to pay the kitchen supplier money for my countertop in addition to purchasing my own wood floor because he refused to purchase it. He stated that this was not something he can do right now due to shortage of money even though I had paid him the full amount. He would come up with excuses on why the house is not being done. In October I started to ask him when I can expect the house to be done as it had been already three months.He said it will take him one more month and the house will be completed by November 30th. It is now December 19th and he has been ignoring my messages and calls. At the beginning of December 2023 he came and took all his tools and left the project undone. The bathroom, kitchen, closets, backyard steps, paint, ceiling holes all left undone. He then decided to go to a trip to Orlando Florida and run for congressman instead of completing his project and reimbursing me for parts of the project that he made me purchase. I completed payment for at least $135,000 for the full project. He did not complete the project and abandoned it. In addition, he demanded more money and refused to reimburse the extra that I spent on the cost that was his responsibility. He also reported that he will install new HVAC units in my house but failed to do so saying that he was wrongfully saying that he trusted the wrong guy who took his money and will not be able to carry through with his responsibility. Mr.Azad is a fraud and as I continue to do research after everything I found out his license has been expired for over a year he does not have business insurance or Workers Comp. or any other necessities for operating a fully compliant business. He presented himself as a licensed contractor which he is not. He is a fraud. He has done this to other clients as well. Him and his wife work as a fraud team. He puts the money in her account and claims to not have his own. He will be taken to court."

"This company Liberty Renovation owner Mr.Azad is a fraud. He has pending case in the Bronx Supreme Court that I filed. He refused to honor his own signed contract and didn’t return my $200K deposit. He didn’t do a day of work in my store and still didn’t return my money. There was a press conference on this guy/ company in Jackson heights few months ago where other victims presented with evidence how they were also cheated by this guy/company Mr. Azad/Liberty Renovation."
