"This review is long overdue! We were having a very big problem with ants entering our property due to exposures on our exterior wall. Unfortunately, we had a lot of no shows and lack of response with other contractors so after an extensive search, we found Bora Construction and we’re so happy we did! The service and response time was exceptional. Cindy was a huge help in getting us a visit with Nick right away and keeping us updated at all times for appointments. Nick was able to come out quickly, inspect our property and offer a solution that would actually fix the problem for a very great price! Nick and his team worked quickly to get the work done and we are so happy to say we no longer have the ant problem and can actually enjoy our property during the warmer season. I would definitely recommend Bora Construction to anyone looking for a great, reliable team to get work done. I definitely plan to work with Bora Construction again for future projects!"

"Have nothing but positives to say about Bora. I'm thrilled by the speed with which the consult and construction took place. I love the aesthetics and how well it fits with my brick home. Nick and I walked the deck, discussed various options, and quickly came to a sensible starting point since I was actually slightly reducing the size of the property's previous deck. Even though we hit a small issue with existing framing (unrelated to Bora), Nick informed me of my options and we were able to proceed promptly. I'm actually having him come back to tackle our pool deck next! 5/5 in my book and would heartily recommend."

Nick and his team have done numerous projects for our brownstone over the years including 1) painting the building (bottom half of the 1st picture), 2) installing a new gutter and downspout, 3) creating a new walkway with a french drain to help redirect water away from our building, 4) reinforcing our deck and more. Nick, the owner, was involved from start to finish.if any situation came up he was immediately on top of it. He always said he wanted to make us happy. He did!! His crew was very professional, courteous and friendly. We love our deck."

"I had a leak that some contractors dismissed, because it wasn’t obvious from my roof, where it was coming from. However, Bora was the most knowledgeable in the potential reasons why it was leaking. They were the most reasonably quoted in price and timeline for the options of an additional layer or a new roof replacement. Thankfully, I choose the latter, which after demo, revealed the plywood and chimney conditions. There were added costs and structural concerns, but Bora explained what all my options were before moving forward and showed good workmanship. Nick, Daniela, George, Luis and the crew were respectful, communicative and professional. Since they finished in the beginning of July, the gutter has been draining properly with no leaks. My only critique is there could have been a little more effort from the crew in moving the items they rearranged back and cleaning the backyard. Bora did apologize and offered to come back, but I had already done it myself. I would still recommend and hire them again. I’ve worked with multiple contractors for interior and exterior projects of my home and compared to those experiences, the entire Bora team has been one of the better companies to work with."
