"John Johansen and his team did an amazing job and I could not have been happier with their work. They are reasonably priced, professional, courteous, efficient, and do fantastic work. I called John to fix the concrete in and around my bilco doors as well as fix a water drainage issue in my backyard with my gutter downspouts. John was able to diagnose the issues, provide recommendations on repairs, and (best of all as a new homeowner) did not try to upsell me on unnecessary fixes. His prices were very reasonable given how much they did. Since then, we have had a few big storms and the drainage issue has been completely eliminated! On top of that, while he was here, John even helped me tackle other fixes in my yards to some of my landscaping, going above and beyond would be an understatement! I can confidently say, I will be calling John in the future the next time I need a contractor."

"I can't say enough positive things about John and his team. We were referred to John because of a leak in our basement. We were told by other contractors that this could be a very expensive fix, but we were met with so much relief when we met John. He told us that he would not jump to over the top solutions if more minor solutions had the potential to solve the problem. He replaced and installed a new gutter system and helped to build up part of the outside land in order to move water away from the house. This solved our problem! "What can I say... NOT ENOUGH! John is a godsend. I decided to roll a construction loan in for renovations on a condo, and John was there to work with the bank from beginning to end. He painted, installed a new backsplash, added high hats, insulated the attic, fixed HVAC piping, and installed a new HVAC unit. He took the time to fix some poor lighting and boiler work that a previous contractor did. He checked out the unit for me faster than my scheduled inspector with the SAME results FOR FREE. He brought my roommate some cupcakes and bins full of cds and tapes for his birthday, because he knew the guy loves music. He even worked around a feisty dog. Halfway through the project Covid struck, and it made it very difficult for John to complete the project. Inspectors were unavailable, offices closed, and it was hard to align schedules. He never once gave up. He did an excellent job of persevering and managing the project. I ordered a new washer and drying from Lowes with removal of the old and installation of the new. The XPO Logistics guys they sent were rude and disrespectful. They refused to do the job. After calling Lowes' headquarters having them resend new guys who also would NOT install and remove, I reached out to John. He took care of EVERYTHING in 1 day. He even discovered some water damage from a leaking washing machine (closet stacked setup), and he recommended a great flooring company who repaired the floor. John is a man of faith and an absolute gentleman. It was a pleasure working with him. He's easy to communicate with, and he's very knowledgeable on all topics of homeownership. All his work is high quality. I look forward to working with him again in the future!"
