"I hired this contractor from a recommendation through one of my friends. We met in September 2021 in Miami to do a renovation on a 2 bed 2 bath 1500 sq ft apartment and I was told the job would be finished in 2 months (3 latest) We agreed a fee which was about 30% higher than I had been quoted but he assured me I would be paying extra to get the job done well and on time. By July 2023 ( nearly 2 years) the job had not been completed. The work done has been absolutely atrocious and we had to sever ties. I was not going to write anything as we have moved on but I am having to redo all the terrible work that they have done. We’ve had to open up walls. open up bathrooms. Redo the stairs. Neither shower works. The toilets are clogged up because there is grout in the line. The drains are clogged because they were not put in properly. We bought someone in to redo the stairs and they said what the guy was trying to do was so unsafe and against regulation and laughed when I showed them how they were going to do it. The floors they put in are all cracked and marked from where they put them in straight away and then worked over them for 2 years (floors go in last) Amongst this, he constantly asked me for more money. Threatened me over the phone. Was constantly aggressive and blaming me and everyone else. Do not use this guy, stay away."
