"Our brand new special order carpet that was installed by Warren Carpet One started to smell stronger and stronger as the months went by. I was getting sicker and sicker as the months went by . We finally called a warranty claim for the smell and the manufacturer ordered Warren Carpet One to remove the carpet. The inspector that came out said it was chemicals that I shouldn't be smelling for so long after the carpet was laid. When the rug was finally removed after much unwanted delay the exposed subfloor smelled like death. The subfloor had been so contaminated by the chemicals in the carpet that I was having much more severe breathing problems but I could not get Warren from Carpet One to tear up my now badly contaminated subfloor. I called many contractors to help and no one would reply. the job was just too small. When I saw Mike's truck from ResCom gassing up at a local gas station I had to go for it and plead my case. I told him how I was suffering not being able to breathe right for months. He didn't hesitate. He came immediately to my home right from the gas station and inspected my floor. Even though he had a mask on the smell of it choked him when he entered the room and he still took the job. He had that floor ripped out quickly. He even had to dispose of the floor at a special toxic-waste site because it was so bad. Thank you so much Mike for showing such compassion for my horrible situation."
