"New roof looks good"

"We had extensive work done by Jason & his team in 2020, totaling around $100,000. First and foremost, I truly enjoyed working with Jason & his crew. Jason is personable and very nice. I think he’s great at what he does, but his team is not as knowledgeable as he is. This led to multiple issues with almost every project they did. We had JAG replace our master shower because it was leaking through the floor, put in mulch and pavers throughout the property, replace our wood deck boards with Trex, reside our house (including new OSB & insulation), paint our front porch, install new doors and paint them, repaint our hallway, replace the stairs going to the basement, paint the basement family room, and put flooring in down there. He also spent some time on my roof inspecting it and giving me a report of the issues after shoddy work from the roofing company so I could get them to fix it. Very helpful. There are pieces of siding hanging off our house. There are huge humps in the deck where something in the frame isn’t level. The paint on the front porch is chipping off in giant pieces. But the biggest issue is our master shower. First of all, the water runs down the glass doors, onto the curb, and spills right out onto the floor. The handle, connecting pieces, and hinges are all different colors/finishes, which Jason promised to come back and replace eventually so they matched. But the worst of it was that chunks of grout were breaking off the floor tiles and coming out after a week. He came back and fixed the floor himself. The same thing happened again and I haven’t been able to get him back again. He has been putting us off for an entire year, and this entire time we haven’t been able to use our master shower that we had paid $12,000 for. I contacted him multiple times, sent photos, and was always told we’re on the list, he’s trying to finish up a job, we’re the first person he’s coming to as soon as he comes back out this way, etc. For a year. So he’s well aware. We decided to pay someone else to fix it, which really sucks considering how much we paid JAG to fix it for us. And while the water no longer leaks through the floor, so technically that part is fixed, we now have multiple new issues so we still can’t use our shower. All that said, I would not recommend this company. He does not stand by his work, he tells you one thing and does another, and he hires people that aren’t properly trained. Very frustrating, because I really like Jason as a person. That’s why I gave 2 stars instead of 1."
