"Wonderful campground tucked between the hills of Truxton. There were many permanent residents there and the staff were wonderful and friendly. I wish our site had sewer hookups, but we were able to drive our motorhome over to the dump station easily."
"Visited this campground for 3 nights. We stayed on the edge of a big grassy field with a playground. It was perfect for the kids to run around. The owners are touchy about not checking in prior to arriving even though campsite was already paid for. Roads are in rough shape. Most occupants on this campground are annual members. During the week it is very quiet. Very good price for firewood and it's delivered to your campsite. $5 bundle or $30 box. We bought the box but we couldn't even finish it. We tried fishing but no luck it was too windy. After fishing we were given a ride back to our campsite. Very friendly gesture. Catch and release pond. No licence required. Cons: no swimming area, wi-fi didn't work in most areas."
"Owner was nice, and the area is quiet! Very reasonable price to stay the night."
"I visited friends way up top in the back and stayed there two years ago it was nice and quiet and they have very spacious sites compared to state run camp grounds. The lake is huge and I as a boy would have loved to fish that lake. The owners husband and wife team are very friendly. The guy that left a one-star review seems to have 5 reviews and he gave one stars to all but one. I give this place five stars for quiet retreat, forest bathing, swimming, and fishing. A campers delight."
