Our commitment to quality extends beyond just sales. For instance, we recently serviced a new Fender American Stratocaster that required a string gauge change and discovered manufacturing flaws. By meticulously adjusting the string height at both the nut and the 12th fret, we transformed an $1,800 guitar that played like a $300 instrument into a finely-tuned masterpiece. The proud owner, Steve Conroe of Piranha Sound in Erie, praised the guitar’s enhanced playability, stating it now performs better than when it left the Fender factory.
In addition to guitars, we also offer a range of amplifiers, including the coveted EVH Edward Van Halen 5150 III LBX Lunchbox Tube Amplifier Head.

She and her staff are knowledgeable about their stock, but especially about guitars, and guitar maintenance. I recently brought in two acoustic guitars. One for a basic setup and one for a complete refretting and TLC. Both guitars were handled with care and now play substantially better than they did before being serviced. I’m pretty sure they even cleaned and polished my case. Pricing was very reasonable and the turnaround time was exceptional! I highly recommend Key Note Guitars!"
