After cleaning up and throwing out so many things, I called around for quotes to dry the basement out. The person who answered told me they guessed it was at least $5000 worth of damage and that was their portion only, not excluding putting my basement back together. I decided to shop around and called Paladin Restoration next. Chris said it was tough to give a solid number over the phone but hed be happy to come out for free to give me an idea of what was needed. He sucked out all the water and left some eq to dry everything for several days. In the end the total bill was close to my insurance deductible and when he left my basement was bone dry and cleaner than its been in years!
