"WARNING...while I was walking on the trail this past Friday (July 19th) my car was broken into, my driver window completely smashed in and my purse stolen during late afternoon hours ( 3 to 4 pm). My purse was very small and on the driver's side floor which I thought was pretty well hidden..but apparently not. They took my WHOLE purse..not just cash and credit cards. Therefore, I lost quite a bit of personal info..drivers license, etc. As I was waiting for cop, another walker seen what happened and stated he heard this has happened numerous times and even recently. And I've heard this now from several people. There are NO CAMERAS or any kind of security there. It is a very secluded area and an easy spot for this kind of crime or worse. Therefore, please take precautions when visiting this trail. I wish I was forewarned...learned a very expensive lesson, for sure."
"I really like the IBM glen trails, I gave it 4 stars due to the crazy woman with the golden retriever who walked up to my car and started taking pictures of me and my car license plate when I arrived at 9:30 on Sunday morning! she claims she takes pictures of all men who hike there… when I informed her I thought that was very weird but to do whatever makes her happy, she then exploded on me about how I don’t want women to be safe and that her husband was a trooper … if anybody knows this woman please recommend her a good doctor to check on her mental state! Enjoy the hike, watch out for the weirdos!"
"Beautiful spot with multiple trails with easy access. We took the yellow trail for about 1.5 miles to get down to the original stone arch bridge and gorgeous bluestone waterfalls. Truly a unique area glad they preserved it. Pet friendly our dog was excited to be here too. Cell service isn’t that great in the middle of the ravine but by the waterfall there is signal and parking lot. Highly recommended"
"Best place in the world! I like to hike the trails, watch birds and wildlife, enjoy the change of seasons, and see all the other wonderful hikers. It's a great place to get outside and get some exercise."
"I've been walking/hiking/cross country skiing here since 1985. It's a hidden gem in the area. The trails vary between wide and semi-paved to narrow and dirt. Some are relatively flat, and some are steep enough to get the heart pumping."
