"To be fair I went in mid April, when the park was still in the "off" season. It's a small park. They have a nice big picnic area though, which is nice. I believe I saw two charcoal grills to use. The playground is okay but it's nothing fancy. It had a big sandpit, with a roof over it. However it doesn't look like it can be covered, and I doubt that anyone would come and cover or uncover it. With the amount of stray cats in Endicott I'm concerned the sand pit would be a public toilet for cats and other animals. If I had kids, I'd think twice about letting them play in the sand just because I'd worry about them getting sick. I hope the sand pit is regularly covered and cleaned. There's a carousel at this park. Or rather, there's usually a carousel here. I went over to the carousel building and peered inside to see nothing but a shell. A photo of this is attached this review. I guess they dismantle it and store the horses elsewhere for their own safety, either from thieves/vandals or from the weather. It was almost eerie to see. I do wish these carousels were in better enclosures so that they can be operational all year round. I can see wonderful Christmas fests in the park this way. The park also had a basketball court I believe and it looked very well maintained but I can't speak more than that because I didn't look too closely. There's also a pool at the front of the park. It was empty when I went, since it won't open until the end of May. It's very small. It ranges from 1ft to 3ft. Seeing it, I think I'd rather go to the Z Pool, since it's larger and slightly deeper. I'd love to see a park with an indoor pool for year round swimming. I'd certainly enjoy that. But I digress. The park overall is humble, but lovely."
"I absolutely love this park. It's free so you can spend the hot summer days at the pool with the kiddos. You don't even have to pack a lunch because they have the concession stand open . Don't forget about the carousel and the playground. It's all day fun"
"This park is so fun has a small pool, playground, sand area, swings, carousel and picnic areas."
"Great place to bring grandchildren. Spiral slide, large sandbox w/ sun shade, pavilion, pool, carousel and large playground."
"Its a very nice stroll down memory lane great commercial and independent community. Improving daily, let's try to keep the streets clean though garbage seems to be thrown out of cars."
