"Made an unexpected trip to the clinic for a broken abscess likely from an infected tooth root. My furbaby was seen right away and treated with antibiotics and pain medicine. The care was excellent from the staff and vet. I found the visit pricing to be fair but the cost of medicine was ridiculously high. I understand convenience but an 800% markup on a common antibiotic is awful. If you are going to charge that much for meds, give enough to get through until you can get a script filled or go to your private vet. With this being said, I would go back for the care but I will request minimal medications and go to my vet for the remainder of the treatment."

"My dog Izzy’s ear flap blew up and was swollen like a pillow or a balloon. I was told she probably developed an ear hematoma. I called 6 local vets, including one I use regularly, and an ER who didn’t even bother to pick up the phone other than to immediately place my call back on hold several times. No one could see her until next week, at least 4 days later, although several of the offices said it could be an emergency. I called UrgentVet who said they could help her and could see her asap. Izzy was examined and a plan of action was developed. The least invasive approach was taken and Izzy was feeling better and we were on our way home. Grateful for the time and care given to my girl. Less than 24 hours later they called to make sure Izzy was doing ok. I definitely recommend!"

"My kitten had a complication after his neuter procedure. When I realized something was wrong, I rushed him to UrgentVet. The staff took me in immediately, and was quick to assess the situation and explain to me the problem. Unfortunately, my kitty needed emergency surgery to repair the complication. The team kindly explained the pricing to me, and discussed my options. Despite it being late, Dr. Donahoe and her lovely team worked hard and quickly to fix my kitty’s problem and perform a surgery. The staff was incredibly kind and treated my kitty like he was their own. It was genuinely the best vet experience I’ve ever had. In a scary situation where I was worried sick, they did everything they could to make me and my kitty comfortable and calm. Thank you so much to the UrgentVet team for helping us and being so lovely! "Where do I even start? We called when our cat, Kitana, suddenly showed signs that her body was giving up. We knew that they don't have ICU type services, but we just needed somewhere that could see her FAST, without driving nearly 40 minutes to get her help. The staff were amazing, listening to everything we told them about her recent diagnosis and not judging when we said we hadn't made the decision regarding treatment yet. They took her back as soon as we got there, made sure all the paperwork and decisions were taken care of before we had to make the hard decision to let Kitana cross that rainbow bridge. They were so caring and gentle and helpful, from front desk to to tech to the doctor. They made a super difficult and heartbreaking time so much more bearable and peaceful. Today, we recieved a card, signed by everyone, with Kitana's paw and muzzle prints. Totally unexpected. Thank you all for everything. ❤️"

"Our female started vomiting in the morning and our regular vet. Dr Frye. Couldn’t see her until next week?!? Dr Mueller at urgentvet Pottstown saw her and got her back on track. Very glad they are there for our pets!"
